December 2018

The 11 minute documentary recounts the history of our organization.

The video that commemorates the 25 years since the foundation of our organization ICUSTA is now available on the internet platform YouTube. It was made by the audiovisual producer Animenta Studio.

The 11-minute video reviews the trajectory of ICUSTA, from the idea of its creation by the founder of the Universidad Santo Tomás in Chile, Gerardo Rocha, passing through the various biennial meetings, up until some of the large projects that have been carried forward. Further, it collects testimonies of some relevant personalities in the history of the network, such as the Dominicans Abelardo Lobato, Rolando de la Rosa, Aníbal Fosbery and Jean-Louis Bruguès, the rectors Robert Ivany, Joseph Wamala, Joseph MacFadden and Jaime Vatter, as well as Lydia Jiménez and Roberto Lafontaine.

It should be noted that the documentary could be realized thanks to the support of the Fundación Angelicum and to various member Universities of ICUSTA who facilitated archival images as well as institutional videos.
